Here’s one fact about DJ Zeez – Although he speaks and sings in Yoruba language fluently, he actually hails from Imo state. He was born in Bariga, Lagos and has been based there all his life, so perhaps there’s not much surprise. Alhough he has been in the music business since 2004, his biggest hit song “4Kasibe” was largely responsible for shooting him into mainstream (“Same Ni” was another of his big songs, though not on the scale of 4Kasibe).

4Kasibe is a term that is used to praise someone to the extreme. So when they say ‘Ori e 4kasibe’, it means that what you are doing; your talents, profession, occupation… is having a positive impact across the world.
