Powerful, classic-formula Afrobeat cuts reminiscent of golden era Fela compositions, like “Traitors of Africa” and “Wonder Wonder,” are joined by more contemporary takes on the style, such as “Do Your Best,” featuring hip-hop superstar Mos Def, and “Ala Jalkoum,” with Rachid Taha, the popular Algerian worldbeat artist.
