Kas – Iyawo Wind Feat. Tonto Dike (DL included)
Kas whose hit songs Fimile, its remix (feat 2Face and Dbanj) and the club track Wind for me remain his most acclaimed tracks is back on the scene months after releasing two tracks (which didnt do to welll with “fans” and critics alike). This track features popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dike who is new on the scene on a song which he calls Iyawo Wind.
Iyawo Wind has a lovely tune and rhythm, however the combination of Kas and Tonto finished whatever chance this song had of warming its way into peoples hearts as the lyrics, autotune usage and overall delivery were just off point and utterly ear deafening the way the song was executed.
Normally people might raise the issue that Tonto Dike should remain in the Nigerian movie industry instead of trying to break into the music industry, however going by the word on the street that she has been signed to Kas’ record label, that isn’t going to happen anytime soon so expect more tracks from her in the nearest future.
