Rugged Man’s Revealing Phone Conversation with 9ice over Toni Payne Affair
Tuesday, May 11, 2010 20:54It started as a rumour that 9ice caught his wife Toni Payne giving Ruggedman a blow job. I wondered where such a terrible rumour emanated from only to find out it was from 9ices song titled ”once bitten twice shy”.In the song done by my own friend,he sang that he saw his ”girl” (Not his wife Toni Payne) giving his ”friend”(Not Ruggedman) a blow job.Since 9ice himself did not mention anybodys name in the said song I thought nothing of the evil,wicked rumour,but it spread wider and i heard a lot of people started assuming a lot and i have been called so many things by people over something i did not do.
Even some shameless soft sells unproffessionally published the rumour based on heresay, without talking to the partys involved,but i dont blame them.Some will publish anything just to sell.
I expected 9ice as a friend to come out and clear it up by announcing to people that it was not me he sang about in his song but till date he has not done so to reasons best known to him i guess.I called 9ice to talk about it and clear it up and he said so many things including that he will not come out and clear my name that has been dragged into a maliscous rumour.
I did not want to believe that 9ice has refused to clear it up because it is helping his album sales like some people have said.I did not want to believe it but I am happy i recorded the conversation and I want you all to hear for urselves what he said to me so that this rumour can stop once and for all.Hear 9ice himself now and know that NOTHING OF THAT NATURE EVER HAPPENED BETWEEN TONI PAYNE AND RUGGEDMAN.
Pls after this,if anybody dares to mention my name in such a thing again its only God that will deal with such a person.

Ruggedman it is good u recorded this conversation but i just hope that when 9ice or his publicist or media personel hears this, it wont degenerate to something else. Ruggedman is an idiot!!! What kind of SO CALLED FRIEND records a telephone call. It’s not 9ices’s fault that Ruggedman has a reputation with the ladies. It has now finally come back to bite him in the ass so he needs to just deal with it. It’s a bit childish for Ruggedman to expect 9ice to clear up the rumours, for what reason? Truly 9ice never for once mentioned anyone’s name on that track, people only made assumptions. You can’t exactly help what people come up with in their heads. It’s not 9ice’s position to squash any rumours, can’t be getting himself involved in that nonsense. it does not even take a baby to see through rugged’s man actions, he obviously is doing this to confirm his self titled “controversial character”. 9ice had told him 2 mins into the conversation that he was not referring to him, but he still continued bantering for almost 6 mins. 9ice was emphatic about the fact that he did not sing about rugged, and truthfully what real pal would record a conversation between him and his”friend” and then make it public. Rugged mans’ action was nothing short of dilly dallying on a very simple matter in order to generate some sort of furor. Personally 9ice had made a great point! If rugged had never had a problem of any sort and was never involved with such an issue then he should have never hit 9ice up on some mess like that. He’s supper soft for this. I’m not exactly sure if this cleared the issue up for me personally, but it definitely made me question rugged’s conscience. Perhaps he might have had a guilty one thats why he felt the need to clear his name before he gets caught. idk, just throwing out my opinion like everyone else. and truth be told had i been 9ice, the very one he was speaking to, I doubt if I’d be any 9icer to him than what we all heard. it’s a bitter situation and truth be told i wont address no freaking issue in public and guess what?! I’ll let the rumors rise and grow my record sales too. Personally, i don’t like it when people try to hit below the belt and not keep it real. P.S. Just like a previous comment noted, rugged is really wack for addressing the issue at such an “untimely” moment. (typical “african time”). What he should have done is called 9ice up and laughed about the situation. matter of fact go out an have a few drinks w/ him and kick it with your boy. Instead he sat at home and began pouting over the issue. (sucks being him huh..) anyways, if he thought 9ice was trying to make this whole situation a positive moment for himself, why on earth didn’t he think to do the same thing?
