This track confirms past rumors suggesting tension between Kelly Hansome and members of the Mo’hits crew. Word got around, suggesting Wande Coal’s “Who Born the Maga” track, was a subtle diss directed at Kelly Hansome.

Kelly mockingly takes aim at Wande coal on this one, and on several instances, cleverly twisting Wande coal’s own lyrics in his response.

Kelly proceeds further, calling out D’banj on his self proclaimed “Igwe” title. Terry G also get a taste of the pie. There’s enough beef to go around. This should be interesting. Hopefully it will not escalate beyond words. What do you make of it?

NOTES:
Hmm, just got done listening to the album in it’s entirety. I know you’ve been waiting to hear the samples and also what i think about the album. Like i usually do, i will offer my honest opinion without looking at uche’s face. In other words, i will be as objective as can be, in my opinions, without any reservations or sentiments.

Starting with positives; unlike the common 10-12 track format, where half of the tracks are instrumentals, This album does contain 18.5 tracks (not counting the intro/outro). i will account for the half later on.
This album contains exactly one club hit song – “Halleluyah”, a song that will likely end up being banned in Nigeria over the airwaves due to it’s message. I don’t always agree with the criteria, with which media officials decide upon what records get banned, but this one seems like an easy one.

If you’re a Terry G die hard fan, this is the point you’re supposed to start swearing at me lol..but that’s ok. It’s all love. The album did sound boring and monotonous after a while, a classic example of too much of something is not good. On the flip side, the album does contain some OK joints like “Ojukokoro”, “Fall in love”, “Bad Belle”, “Wine dey go” and “Bia Nulo”, which is a sample of Onyeka Onwenu’s Classic version.

Earlier on, i promised to explain my reasoning behind the “.5″. That comes from the “Free madness Pt. 2″ joint. A record that was originally produced for “Ditty Blaq” on “ifeneme”. I was surprised to see the record on the album despite the back and forth dispute between both sides over the production rights. Terry G even plans on shooting a video lol.. I can imagine ditty blaq fuming right about now.

The album is average at best. Terry could use a little bit of ginger right about now. Seems like folks getting tired of the same old stuff.

So there you have it, the truth and nothing but the truth. “GINJAH UR SWAGGAH SEASON 1″ is now available at local retail stores in Nigeria, and will be on iTunes shortly.

Just got this in from one of my sources in Lagos (DJ X Chris of Ray power FM). Chris was so excited about this track, i had to check it out to see why. Side One started off singing in church back in the day, and as part of a group called D VIC T2, before moving to Calabar to establish his music career professionally. I liked the track the first time i heard it. Another dancehall party joint produced by Terry G. Terry G should have his own riddim already lol..
